WorkForce International has partnered with a leading global provider of online foreign exchange (forex) trading, CFD trading, spread betting, and related services. Their mission is to inspire global traders with access to the world's largest and most liquid market. By offering the most innovative trading tools, hiring the best trading educators, and meeting strict financial standards to protect trader funds, they strive for the best online trading experience in the market. They are expanding their team in Cyprus and looking to hire a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join their Data Analytics department. We're looking for someone with 3-5 years of experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models. The position is based in Nicosia.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions
- Build and use predictive models using various methods for the implementation of new reporting and other initiatives
- Define and lead business improvement projects
- Liaise with business heads and other management on reporting optimizations and process improvement initiatives
- Consult management on data and analyzes associated with business goals, KPIs, and benchmarks
- Validate, manipulate, and perform exploratory data analysis on datasets
- Review, refine and document business requirements and processes
- Drive efficiency by designing and delivering tool enhancement and automation
- Analyze and test new data sources for availability and quality, and integrate with internal sources
- Share knowledge and expertise with other team members to enable continued team skills development
Your Profile:
- Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development
- Fluency in verbal and written English, excellent communication and documentation skills
- At least 2 years of experience in a technically-oriented role in Business intelligence or similar
- Experience with SQL, Oracle SQL, PostgreSQL, Data Processing / Data Analysis / Data Mining / Data Manipulation / Data Extraction
- Experience working with and creating data architecture
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
- Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications
- Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills
- Strong project management and organization skills
- Experience servicing remote teams
- Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
- Tableau Experience (creating or using) is considered a big plus
- Additional programming languages (VBA, Python) are considered a plus
- Experience creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc. is a big plus
- Experience querying databases and using statistical computer languages: R, Python, SQL
