We are looking to hire a Sales Operations Manager to join their management team in Nicosia, Cyprus with periodic traveling to Tripoli, Libya
Purpose of the role:
A Sales Operations Manager at our client is responsible for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our client’s sales team based in Libya. You will work closely with the sales team, as well as other cross-functional teams, to streamline operations, improve productivity, and drive revenue growth. This is a key role that demands a combination of strategic thinking, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of the FMCG industry and sales process.
Optimize the Sales Process
- Analyze current sales processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to streamline workflows and increase sales efficiency.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Support the Revenue Team
- Provide team members with the tools, training, and resources they need to succeed.
- Collaborate with other departments on hiring and onboarding team members.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the team.
Manage Technology & Tools
- Manage and optimize the utilization of ERP and other tools.
- Identify and implement new technologies and systems to improve sales operations.
- Lead projects aligned with the digital transformation of the company
- Ensure the team is well-versed in using all relevant tools.
Contribute to Sales Strategy
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement sales strategies that align with company goals.
- Assist in the development of sales forecasts, budgets, and quotas.
- Other duties or functions may be assigned.
- 5 - 7 Years of Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- Proven experience in a Sales Operations or related role, with a successful track record of supporting sales teams within the FMCG industry.
- Strong knowledge of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
- Exceptional communication, presentation skills, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to periodically travel to Libya
