Our client is a financial software provider, with a proven track record of excellence and accumulated years of experience in the financial trading industry.
We are seeking a highly organised and technically proficient Junior Project Manager to manage software development projects and optimise operational workflows. The ideal candidate will have a year or two of experience and a passion for leveraging DevOps tools and methodologies to streamline project delivery and improve collaboration between development and operations teams.
What You’ll Do
• Project Planning & Execution: Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• DevOps Integration: Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement DevOps practices and tools into project workflows.
• Agile Methodologies: Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
• CI/CD Management: Coordinate the integration and deployment pipelines to ensure
• smooth and efficient software releases, as well as prepare the release notes for internal and external purpose.
• Infrastructure Coordination: Work with teams to manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and ensure scalable, secure systems.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing updates and managing expectations.
• Monitoring & Feedback: Utilise DevOps monitoring tools to track project performance and identify areas for improvement.
Must-Have Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Project Management Skills: 1 - 2 years experience managing software development projects, preferably in a SaaS or tech environment. Skilled in project tracking and sprint management.
• DevOps Expertise: Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and containerisation.
• Agile Knowledge: Understanding of agile methodologies and experience facilitating agile ceremonies.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities to coordinate across technical and non-technical teams.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or Agile (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, PMI-ACP) is considered a plus.
• 1 -2 years Experience in a SaaS or DevOps-centric organisation.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
