Our client, mid-sized Audit/Accounting boutique based in Nicosia is expanding — and we’re looking for a motivated, detail-driven Experienced Auditor to join their Audit Department. Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Lead and execute audit engagements in line with ISAs and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare audit working papers, financial statements, and documentation using Caseware.
- Assess internal controls, review accounting records, and identify key audit risks.
- Perform both substantive and analytical audit procedures to deliver high-quality audit files within deadlines.
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS and Cyprus Companies Law.
- Communicate with clients regarding audit findings, required information, deadlines, and progress updates.
- Assist with technical matters and support clients on accounting and reporting issues.
- Plan, organise, and execute audit engagements efficiently while maintaining client satisfaction.
- Handle ad-hoc audit and assurance assignments as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- ACCA/ACA qualified or in the final stages.
- 3+ years’ experience in an audit firm or similar audit role.
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS, ISAs, and Cyprus Companies Law.
- Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in Greek and English.
- Excellent MS Office skills; Caseware experience essential.
