Our client is a leading provider of online foreign exchange (forex) trading, CFD trading, spread betting and related services. Their mission is to inspire global traders with access to the world's largest and most liquid market. Due to growth, they are expanding their team in Nicosia and looking to hire a French/German/Portuguese speaking BDR.

The Business Development Representative will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with the company`s clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients through regular communication and high-touch service
  • Providing exceptional service and support to clients to ensure their satisfaction and activation
  • Act as a liaison between the company and our clients, proactively managing expectations and addressing any issues that may arise
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in the retail client segment
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments in the market to stay ahead of the competition
  • Consistently achieve departmental and individual metrics
  • Coordinate and collaborate with managers from different departments to work on projects aiming to effectively improve the metrics and incentivize the growth of the region
  • Present our trading platform and introduce leads into the world of online trading of Forex and CFD’s
  • Assist translating written material in an array of topics
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Ensure good customer outcomes are achieved particularly where the interests of the Company conflict with those of customers
  • Attend and complete all annual mandatory compliance/regulatory training assigned including but not limited to Conduct Risk and Treating Customers Fairly

Your Profile:

  • Experience in FX and or Financial Services within a Business Development Role
  • Strong knowledge of the FX & CFD market
  • Fluent in either French, German or Portuguese
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to think strategically and analytically how to growth the region through new initiatives
  • Motivate and inspire other team members to achieve client satisfaction and to continuously improve their customer service skills.
  • Ability to think quickly and problem-solve in real-time
  • Continue to be able to demonstrate a strong interest and passion for financial markets, international affairs and geopolitical events
  • Must meet the Fitness and Propriety Requirements as prescribed by the FCA
  • Act upon constructive criticism to improve on-desk client conversations and to build on personal and department-wide performance figures
  • A good level of computer literacy including Microsoft Office package and CRMs
  • Strong writing skills and can speak fluently, persuasively and clearly in English
  • Must be currently based in Cyprus or looking to relocate
