Job Description
Our client is an international company providing corporate and consulting services. Operating since 2003 it has successfully managed to open offices in Cyprus, Russia, Hong Kong and Latvia. They are currently looking for an IFRS Accountant for their office in Limassol. This position is a hybrid role, which doesnt require you to be in the office often.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounting under IFRS (all blocks of accounting, QuickBooks software)
- Supporting calculations (payroll, loans etc.)
- Communication with clients and auditors
- Work with large volumes of information and documents
- Сonsulting on tax and accounting issues in Cyprus and UAE
Your Profile:
- Bachelors' degree in Accounting and/or Finance
- Work experience as a chief accountant / head accountant for at least 3 years in a Cyprus company
- Fluent in Russian and English is required
- Knowledge of Cyprus tax legislation, experience in calculating taxes and filing tax returns (income tax, defense tax, GESY, VAT)
- Experience in preparation of management accounts
- Experience in accounting of UAE companies is an advantage
- Ability to work in a polysemic mode, punctuality, non-confrontational attitude, customer focus, compliance with deadlines for completing tasks
- You must be based in Cyprus and legible to work without the need for a visa
