Sr. Voice Engineer

Job Description

WorkForce International has partnered with a rapidly growing enterprise Voice AI platform operating at significant scale — supporting 32,000+ concurrent calls across 65+ languages. Their technology powers high-demand, customer-facing operations for major telecom and healthcare organizations across Southern Europe, with expansion underway into new markets and verticals.

You’ll be joining a focused, high-performance team where solutions move from concept to live production in days — not quarters. If you’re motivated by real-world impact and measurable results, this is an opportunity to work at the forefront of enterprise voice AI.

The Role

We’re seeking a Voice Agent Engineer to lead the design and delivery of intelligent voice agents for enterprise clients.

This is a technical implementation role — not a core software engineering position. You won’t be building platform infrastructure, but you will own the transformation of client requirements into fully functional, production-ready voice agents using our platform and best-in-class AI tools.

You’ll work directly with enterprise stakeholders, run discovery workshops, and take responsibility for the quality, performance, and conversational experience of every deployed agent. If you naturally think about how conversations flow, how tone influences trust, and why callers disengage — this role is built for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead requirements discovery sessions with enterprise clients across telecom, healthcare, and other industries
  • Design and configure end-to-end voice agent dialog flows using no-code/low-code tooling
  • Develop and iterate prompts to optimize LLM behavior for specific use cases and personas
  • Configure and fine-tune STT, TTS, and LLM components to meet latency, accuracy, and tone expectations
  • Own the full deployment lifecycle — from scoping and build to go-live and post-launch optimization
  • Monitor live performance metrics and proactively troubleshoot conversational or technical issues
  • Collaborate with engineering teams when integrations or custom logic are required
  • Document agent configurations, decision logic, and reusable best practices

What You Bring

Required

  • Strong technical foundation — clear understanding of APIs, telephony systems, and AI pipelines
  • Hands-on experience with prompt engineering in conversational or voice AI contexts
  • Working knowledge of STT, TTS, and LLM technologies, including real-world production trade-offs
  • Confidence running client-facing sessions and translating business needs into technical solutions
  • Ability to design conversations with attention to tone, fallback handling, and edge cases

Nice to Have

  • Experience with MRCP, SIP, or VoiceXML protocols
  • Familiarity with LangGraph, n8n, or other workflow/agent orchestration tools
  • Background in telecom, healthcare, or other regulated environments
  • Greek or additional language proficiency (valuable for regional client engagement)

What's on Offer

  • Competitive salary aligned with experience
  • Equity participation — share in the success you help create
  • Direct exposure to enterprise-scale AI deployments
  • A lean, highly technical team where strong ideas move quickly
  • Clear growth opportunities as we expand into new markets and verticals

If you’re excited about building voice agents that operate at real enterprise scale — and seeing your work live in production fast — we’d love to hear from you.
