Accountant – Tripoli, Libya | Join a Market Leader

Our client, is the sole producer and distributor of an international brand in Libya and a clear market leader in the country.
We are looking for an Accountant to join their Finance team in Tripoli, reporting directly to the Finance Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional from Tunisia or Algeria who is looking to take their career into an international environment and gain valuable experience with a major FMCG operation.
What you’ll be doing
- Ensure accurate and timely posting of financial transactions in SAP
- Review branch expense reports and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare monthly bank, cash, debtors, creditors and branch reconciliations
- Participate in physical stock counts and reconciliation
- Support the Finance Manager with financial and management reporting
- Work closely with the accounting team on key assignments and projects
- Support the implementation of new technology and finance initiatives
- Ensure full compliance with company policies and procedures
Who we’re looking for
We are particularly interested in Algerian and Tunisian accounting professionals who have a solid understanding of accounting processes, reconciliations and financial reporting.
Experience with SAP, FMCG, manufacturing, distribution or other structured corporate environments will be highly valued.
