Job Description
We have partnered up with one of the leading companies in the FMCG industry who are representatives of a leading global brand in Cyprus and other countries. We are looking for a Commercial Manager to join their team in Nicosia and work very closely with the General Manager of the company.
This is a great opportunity as you will serve as a company leader, overseeing day-to-day operations and focusing on the long-term interests of the business. You will pursue new business opportunities and manage functions such as company associations, employee activities and evaluations, and other matters that relate to a company's operations. You will have a key influence in marketing, corporate management, and sales.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Establish the annual sales plan of the company in accordance with the strategy of the company and submit it to the Management Committee and the Board of Directors for approval.
 - Responsible for the annual and monthly sales and sales targets as set by the Management Committee or the Board of Directors
 - Responsible for the implementation of the credit policy approved by the Management Committee
 - Responsible for the entire marketing function of the company and brands associated
 - Liaises with the Directors and Purchase Manager to ensure appropriate stock policies in accordance with the sales plan approved
 - Establish relationships with existing and new clients to promote sales in accordance with the sales strategy
 - Monitors performance of salespersons for sales and collections based on targets set and take corrective action accordingly
 - Prepare monthly reports to the Management Committee explaining the performance of the sales team and recommends corrective actions
 - Motivates staff to perform their duties
 
Your profile:
- At least 3 years experience in a similar role
 - Proven success in sales and marketing, including the demonstrable success of selling on a one–to–one or one–to–group basis
 - Proven success in developing client relationships
 - Proven success of managing/implementing new business pipeline
 - Proven Computer literacy including email, MS Office, content management systems
 - Knowledge of the commercial sector with a strong understanding of the FMCG industry
 - Ability to effectively prioritize and plan own workload and remain outcome orientated
 - Flexibility to respond to external or internal changes, maintaining equilibrium and focus
 - Ability to budget and monitor spending
 - Ability to plan against a timeline and meet deadlines
 - Driven by results with a strong desire to succeed
 - A positive approach to problem-solving, decision making, and dealing with a wide range of people
 - Confident and comfortable negotiating with a variety of people at all levels
